DEBORAH STRONG
AFCA

horse portraits

Horses have played an important role in Deborah's life since the age of five and her first Shetland pony (named Tony). The equine love of her life was Duke, a palomino Saddlebred-Quarterhorse whose portrait you'll see on this page. Deborah's life-long affinity for horses has made them a favourite subject of her art and one for which she has a deep connection. Each of her coloured pencil horse portraits is lifelike and sensitively rendered.
